Future Tech Academy runs VEX Robotics sessions for students aged 9 to 15. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Parent or guardian details, such as your name, email address and phone number.
Your child’s details, such as their name, age or school year, and their robotics and coding experience.
Payment records, such as what was paid and when. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
Messages you send us, including problem reports submitted through this website.
Basic technical information, such as anonymous page visit statistics and security logs.

How we use it

To process registrations and manage your child’s place.
To take payments and keep financial records.
To contact you about sessions, changes and your enquiries.
To keep students safe during sessions.
To keep this website secure and working properly.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our legal basis

We use personal information where it is needed to provide the service you have registered for, to meet our legal obligations, or for our legitimate interests in running and protecting our sessions. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires, for example for financial records. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as those that keep a registration or payment session secure. We do not use advertising cookies.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it.
